Name: Aramina
Aliases / Codename: Sarella, Sarellawenda, wenda, Mina. Aramina Witcheyes (called thus by her brother), Ara (called thus by her mother)
Age: 26
Apparent Age: 26
Position: Five-Banded wenda to Lord Havoc.
Description:
A quiet and gentle, slightly built woman with red-brown hair, usually kept in an artfully controlled tumble of waves and frank green-gray eyes. Her physique is strong with lean muscle without looking bulky. She could be an athlete or a dancer. Not conventionally pretty, Mina has a wide forehead, high cheekbones and a firm but triangular chin, giving her a vague heart shaped face. Yes, not precisely pretty, but alive with a handsome vitality that would have eclipsed a simply pretty face.
General attire:
She had been known to wear a split sleeved half shirt and pleated side tied skirt, respectively and matching the colors of her outfit to her Denday's choice. Otherwise the outfit is usually in soft creams and beiges for general tasks she assumes about the grounds and Keep, usually her small plot of herb garden.
One thing she is never without is the set of finely made gold chains about her ankles, wrists and her throat. These mark her in her culture as a Five-Banded wenda as well as keeping her gifts in check and under Havoc's control as she learns to contain herself. They never leave her, even should she be bathing.
Personality:
She is the quiet hostess/supervisor/observer of the Keep's slaves and guests as needed.
Under most circumstances, Mina is gentle and sweet, unobtrusive but unbending in her devotion to her Hamak. And she will allow nothing that she is in control of into his presence that is not the finest that can be achieved. Earnest and wishing to please, this has lead the girl to try to be everywhere in an attempt to take as much burden and bother as he will let her off his own shoulders. He humors her in most cases, though Mina herself finds this amusing.
When it comes to the other slaves in the Keep, Mina feels more than a certain responsibility. She knows Havoc can be harsh, cruel, even more so when he loses his temper and although these things of themselves never bothered her or make her think less of him, they cause less pleasant occurrences to happen to these slaves. Thus, she considers it her duty to tend to them.
History:
Aramina and her twin brother, Valessen, were born in Lyra City, to a Ramillian L'lenda and his wenda, Brigantia. The twins grew up with the Ramillian half of her family.
<more>
The home of her L'lenda was attacked and most of the people there murdered. She managed to escape, and ran. Unbeknownst to her, her path led her through a Rift. She wound up on the Planet of Legends, in the city of Talees. Adrift in the market and desperate for some assistance, she found Havoc. Havoc gave her a home, learned the ways of her people and decided to Band her within a few weeks. When Aramina reconnected with her family, she told the Corva of this Banding and made it official among the Ramillians.
<more>
On the verge of the twins' birth, Aramina was captured by Broken Doll and Holocaust. Her bodyguards were also captured, TeyJarrons and Breakdown among them. Aramina was tortured somewhat and her twins taken from her via flesh craft. The kidnapping of her much anticipated twins caused a break in Aramina's psyche. It was more than just physical healing she needed. Havoc sent for Mozaifirum; however the Soul Singer was slow in arriving at the Keep.
This crisis allowed the fragment Brigantia's soul sliver to become more powerful. She essentially took over Aramina's body as she attempted to force her way back into the semblance of life. Due to the hand of the Soul Sliver of her mother, Brigantia, upon her arrival back to the Keep, Mina's soul had detached from her mind, amplifying her gift of Empathy, but making her almost incapable of the natural compassion. The divide of the two parts was done after Mina found herself outside the Keep, minus the twins. Other changes were the tone of her voice, lack of interest and some memories, and washed out, pale gray eyes with green flecks.
Mozafirium effected the changes and Healing Mina so desperately needed, moving the Soul Sliver of Brigantia to where she should have gone in the first place. A well done demonstration of why children of Fyre must have the Sliver placed within the first two years of life to avoid such problems. With the Sliver in place, Mozafirium was able to establish the link of Mina's mind and soul, thus putting the wenda back not only to how she used to be, but how she should have been all along. Only the physical changes remain visible, like the color of her hair and eyes.
Current Events
Upon finding that something happened to Healer Morena while 'Rena and Patch were doing a sort of 'research', Mina was brought in because of her ability to find bloodline or common links and follow them from one party to another. Morena may just well be in mortal danger, but for now, Mina, in the company of Patch and Oren, must deal with the potential danger they had brought upon themselves.
Still upon the search for the missing Healer, Mina did something unprecedented for herself and, without permission from her beloved Havoc, went to find the Captain, Actyon, as Morena had been in his 'care'. It appears that his memory of Morena has been altered. With that lead fair well exhausted, Mina went back to the Keep only to be punished by Havoc for her disobedience.
Known Abilities:
Herbalist: She is a well-practiced herbalist, spending what she considers luxury hours in the still-room. She refuses to allow anyone to touch her medicines while they are still in preparation and often snaps out warnings to all but two beings, only one being her L'lenda should they touch them. If one is unwise and actually does disturb her precious corner of the still-room, well, it has been said that steel-inlay bull whips are less painful than the lecture she delivers. However anyone can go there, look upon the designated 'finished-medicines' shelf and find and take whatever they need. It matters not what they take, for Mina has at least three months of prep work done already for each bottle.
Strong telepathy and empathic ability: This which causes some of her tendency to be gentle with those around her, for she can feel what they do. This might also be why she is quick to tend those of the Keep unless Havoc expressly forbids her.
Telekinesis: Aramina has this facet of the three Gifts of her Father's people. And any with strong enough TK Talent, can effect a teleportation at least of themselves. While Mina has enough TK ability to form a shield about herself and anyone close at hand of a minimum of five people, or more if she is being augmented.
Teleportation: In the case of her Teleportation ability, the top amount of people she can 'port is three. The amount of inanimate objects Mina can affect the teleportation of is only 100 pounds at a time, for a maximum of five times before she has to rest.
Fiendfyre: The Gift of her mother's people that allows her to withstand great heat, such as sticking her hand into the oven to pull out hot honeycakes without thinking twice about it. She can control flame within a certain degree and even transform her body after a fashion as to be completely made of fire. This was the gift she could not control and only with Havoc's help, contain. She has gotten better, as time passes, in consciously manifesting this talent, though she tends to prefer not using it at all as experience has made her wary.
Blood Muse: Not an ability from either parent that Mina is aware of. It allows her to trace connections between one person and another by their blood relations, giving her a method of finding and then possibly retrieving the lost. Perhaps it is a gift born of necessity, or perhaps something that came from the commingling of two species, but it has proven useful on occasion.
Family:
Havoc: Her L'lenda and *. In the ways of her people, he the closest thing she will have to a husband.
Brigantia: Her mother. Exists now as a soul sliver within Aramina's psyche.
Her father: a Ramillian L'lenda. Aramina has not seen him in ten years.
Valessan: Mina has a twin brother
All other relatives are in Fyre and inaccessible to Mina currently.
Mother of unnamed twins (Havoc is the father)
Other Notes:
She has a store of recipes in her memory that she wont even allow the cook construct to prepare, honeycake and home made mead being just two.
Information about the Keep:
While Mina can be found any where around the keep at any time of the day, she starts and ends each day in her rooms, and is there when she has free time to take a quick change of clothes and a wash, for she feels that she must take these means not only to be pleasing to Havoc, but to give the other slaves an example should they need it on how they should conduct themselves ( her thoughts) in His Keep.
While he has granted her a five room suite, the wenda tends to prefer the company and familiarity of Havoc's rooms. Old habits die hard, and it makes her feel better that she is quietly close at hand for him.
Notes from the Past
While she was pregnant, Mina took to wearing a slightly worn shirt of Havoc's with her hair tied back with dragons'bane plant vines, said to nurse the life of the unborn to vitality and health.
